Take a Look & Learn Tour of The New Pittsburgh International Airport!
The New Pittsburgh International Airport is scheduled to open in 2025 and you can get an early look and insight on this exciting project from the comfort of the current Landside and Airside Terminals.
Look & Learn, a 90-minute walking tour, is open to the public for anyone interested in learning about Pittsburgh’s new terminal as it is being built for Pittsburgh by Pittsburgh! This transformative 800,000 square-foot terminal focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience while increasing airline efficiency.
Throughout this tour, your experienced, professional tour guide will take you along a path of a departing passenger and along the way will highlight changes coming soon!
Tours are offered every Wednesday at 10 a.m. for up to 10 people, with the minimum touring age at 6 years old. Tour participants must be registered at least 48 hours prior to the tour (10 a.m. the Monday before the tour) and those age 18 and older must provide government-issued photo ID. Those under the age of 18 must have an adult escort.
The tour is free of charge.
This walking tour is open to everyone. Accommodations can be made to provide a tour for those who may have mobility limitations.

The Allegheny County Airport Authority reserves the right the cancel the tour, or to remove individual participants from the tour, at any time.
Tour Details
- Tours are limited to 10 participants.
- An email confirmation with a meeting location and parking instructions will be sent to all registered participants.
- Participants ages 18 and older must provide government-issued photo ID to receive a tour pass valid for that day only.
- Tours are open to anyone ages 6 years and older.
- All tour participants under the age of 18 must have an adult escort.
- All participants must report to the meeting location at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour.
- All tour participants must go through TSA screening checkpoints and are subject to the same rules, regulations, and laws as traveling passengers.
- Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.
- Participants will be required to complete a “hold harmless” agreement prior to the beginning of the tour.
- The following form must be completed for each individual registrant requesting a tour.
